Having previously exhibited with Headliners in Brick Lane at the Kobi Nazrul Centre in October, we’re continuing our exhibition 'Colouring Identity' throughout November in Shoreditch at GreatArt, displaying works created during this summer from workshops hosted at GreatArt and across Tower Hamlets.
The focus of the works on exhibit are based on cultural identity and freedom of expression themed around Bangladesh heritage. This year marks 70 years since the Bengali language movement began, Bangladeshi heritage artist Husna Parvin using the medium of water colour worked with young people in creating a body of work to show how language and identity is important from the view of the artist and young creatives.
This project is supported by Tower Hamlets Council, London Youth, GreatArt and Artgecko Sketchbooks.
The exhibition runs from 01-30 November 2022
Monday-Sunday | 10:00-18:00
